About BB Divers

 

BB DIVERS five star Padi dive center is an international diving school under Belgian management. Our Koh Kood branch opened in October 2011, but BBdivers have been diving for much longer on Koh Chang. In 2003 Kristel founded the dive centre. She stayed on the island on one of her many travels and fell in love with this great place and its gorgeous surroundings. She decided to turn her biggest hobbies diving and traveling into a successful business. A dream and a great lifestyle came true. BB divers quickly became one of the best diving schools in the area, they have build a great reputation and are known for their professionalism, while offering a relaxed atmosphere to dive and learn diving. The reason why all customers love to come here is because BBdivers has a distinctive style. BB 'divers' are treated as our friends not as a student number...

Since Koh Kood is slowly developing into the new 'tropical get-away' of Thailand, it was a logical step to open the new BB dive center here and expand our diving horizons. We are located in Klong Chao beach, next to Away resort.

BBdivers Koh Kood

offers every PADI course in the book. We also offer daily fun dives and snorkeling in a relaxed atmosphere and under personal guidance. BB divers gives fair prices, safety and comfort on board, pick-up from hotel, snacks, food and drinks included depending on length of the trip. Our prices also include Padi certification, Padi manual, use of all equipment, licensed dive guide for fun dives, Padi licensed dive instructor for courses.
We sell dive equipment from well-known brands such as Scubapro, Seac sub, Aqualung, Sherwood, Suunto as well as all Padi materials.

Awards

In April 2007 BB divers became a "PADI 5 star dive centre", thanks to the effort we putin updating our equipment and keeping up with all the new standards in the diving courses. The quality of the diving course and boat trips is our main priority.



In May 2007 we were awarded a "Reef Check Facility". This because of the effort we make in working with eco minded divers. We train the new "eco divers course" to help and protect the living reef.Next to this we often go out for coral dives which help us map the under water reef.

five-stars-idc-padi-koh-changSince October 2007 we’ve started with instructor training, or IDC. many of our trainees are now working around the world. We take price in offering a very thorough IDC training, with a very intense preparation for the candidates while not forgetting the fun on the way! BB divers is the first and only dive center to organise IDC on Koh Chang. Our candidates on Koh Kood will enjoy most of the training on this island, but will need to transfer to Koh Chang or the final OWSI and IE. We train our instructor candidates in cooperation with John Bolle, an experienced course Director who runs his own IDC center in Belgium, ref. www.duikpunt.be.
